Amélia Lisboa is a café at Rua Ferreira Borges 101, 1350-128 Lisboa, in the Campo de Ourique neighbourhood. The telephone number is +351 213 850 863. The doors open at 08:30 every day. From Monday to Thursday and on Sunday it closes at 20:00, while on Friday and Saturday it stays open until 22:00. The venue belongs to Grupo Nicolau, a restaurant group founded in 2016 by Bernardo Mesquita Pinto and Bárbara Pinto. The group began with Nicolau, named after the founders' dog. Amélia followed as Nicolau's girlfriend, opened to expand the group with a complementary concept. According to the group, Amélia was born in Campo de Ourique, and its description mentions a pink counter, a secret garden and an Art Nouveau window. Another source says the garden is at the back, behind the indoor seating at the front. A sister venue, Amélia Foz, stands in Foz do Porto. In both places, the group says, the food is light, with carefully crafted flavours, global inspiration and a space where you'll want to linger. The breakfast menu lists French Toast Amélia, made with red fruits, banana, Greek yogurt, maple syrup and pistachios, at 6,5€. Iogurte Amélia, a Greek yogurt dish with fruit, honey and granola made in house, costs 6,8€, and a Taça de Açaí with fresh fruit and the same granola costs 8€. Among the egg dishes, Ovos Amélia is built around poached eggs, avocado and spinach on tomato toast, with turmeric hummus and salted granola, for 8€. Ovos Benedict and Ovos Florentine are also 8€. Two eggs any style come with two slices of toast and butter for 5,5€, and the bread can be sourdough, brioche, bagel or gluten-free. Pancakes include the Clássicas at 5,8€, with toppings such as honey, jam or dulce de leche. A vegan version with oat and banana, fruit, cinnamon and maple syrup is 7,5€, and the Red Velvet with cream cheese and red fruits is 8€. The menu also lists Brunch Amélia at 18€ and bottomless mimosas at 10€. The savoury side offers beet hummus with vegetable sticks at 5,5€ and Tacos Amélia with shrimp, avocado, mango and purple cabbage at 8,5€. Poke de Salmão costs 13,5€, Salada César 10€, and the prawn, mango and coconut curry, Caril de Gambas, 14€. The Amélia Egg Muffin is 6,5€ and the Bagel Bacon & Eggs 7€.
